We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Rewind Technician in Saint John, NB

The Key Responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators, rotors or armatures
• Test repair motors to ensure proper repair and performance
• Troubleshoot and find root cause on failed equipment
• On the job training will be provided
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motors
• Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
• Must be able to understand and use test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary, intermediate, and final tests
• Knowledge of other electro-mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, would be considered an asset
