The Child and Parent Resource Institute (CPRI) provides trauma-informed, highly specialized assessment, treatment, and targeted intervention services for children and youth across the province with complex combinations of special needs, including developmental disabilities, autism and severe behavioural, emotional and mental health challenges. These services include Assessment, Consultation, Treatment, Research and Education.
CPRI is searching for a talented Program Lead to provide leadership, planning, design, and change management expertise to develop and conduct relevant, meaningful, and accessible performance measurement. About the job
You will:
- Lead project management process to deliver on business/ service improvement projects and initiatives
implementation.
- Help provide leadership with project teams to conduct business/service reviews
- Prepare budget recommendations, monitor approved budgets, and develop performance requirements related to budgets.
- Prepare a variety of project related reports, briefings, proposals, and recommendations for senior managers.
- Provide expertise, briefings and consultative advice to senior management and/or clients.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of ministry business/service improvement services
- Lead the development and coordinate delivery of communications specific to business/service improvement projects/initiatives.
- Establish networks to maintain connections with clients/stakeholders, key business partners, and decision makers in order to obtain commitment and support for projects/initiatives.
What you bring to the team
Business/Service Improvement, Financial Management and Research skills
You have:
- knowledge in business/service process improvement and process re-engineering methodologies; development and monitoring of performance measures, bench marking, risk management, as well as continuous improvement theories and best practices.
- an understanding of governmental mandates, programs, policies and practices in the areas of finance, administration, research, education and policy development, information technology, and reengineering to develop/deliver business/service solutions
- knowledge of procurement principles and contract management practices to deal with vendors.
- financial planning and management skills to develop, monitor and control budgets related to business improvement projects/initiatives.
- research and quantitative/qualitative analytical skills to gather and analyze information to develop options/recommendations that support business/service improvement solutions.
Project and Change Management skills
You have:
- knowledge of project management methodologies to coordinate and lead multiple large concurrent projects and program development initiatives, resolve conflicts.
- change management skills to provide guidance and support to operational and support areas.
Communication, Facilitation and Relationship Management skills:
You can use:
- oral and written communication skills to prepare presentations and materials including briefing notes, ministerial correspondence and policy reports.
- facilitation and negotiation skills to lead consultations with clients/stakeholders.
- relationship management and partnership building skills to work cooperatively with clients/stakeholders/partners.
Analytical and Problem Solving skills
You can:
- lead assessments and research to identify key elements to drive business/service improvement.
- assess and revise/develop business/service analysis tools, methods, processes and practices.
- your ability to comprehend difficult/complex issues and develop recommendations/options to provide business/service improvement solutions.
- business intelligence tools to perform data analysis and present information to support decision-making and reporting.
Computer skills
- You possess office computer software including word processing, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio spreadsheets and database packages, to assess data, conduct analysis and prepare reports and presentations.
