Process Analyst V (Risk, Governance & Control) 📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days onsite) 📅 Contract: June 22, 2026 – January 21, 2027 💲 Pay: Up to $36.23/hour + 4% vacation pay 🕒 Full-time | Monday–Friday, core business hours About the Role We’re seeking a Process Analyst V to support Governance & Control (G&C) functions within a dynamic wholesale banking environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong risk, audit, and control testing experience, particularly in End-to-End Risk & Control Self-Assessments (E2E RCSA). You will play a key role in ensuring internal controls are effectively designed, tested, and aligned with risk and regulatory requirements, while partnering closely with business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and support design and operating effectiveness testing programs Conduct testing of key controls and analyze/report exceptions Perform and support End-to-End Risk & Control Self-Assessments (E2E RCSA) Track and drive remediation actions and root cause analysis Assess Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to identify enhancements Partner with stakeholders to strengthen controls and mitigate risk Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies Collaborate with business units, including front office and traders Support governance initiatives and ad-hoc risk projects Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 3–5+ years’ experience in risk, audit, compliance, or governance Strong experience with Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) Hands-on experience in audit, QA, or control testing Advanced knowledge of risk management, governance, and controls frameworks Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUPs; macros an asset) Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently and within a team Critical Requirement – E2E RCSA Expertise Candidates must have hands-on experience working within formal End-to-End RCSA frameworks, ideally within banking or financial services. This includes: Understanding of the End-to-End RCSA lifecycle, including ongoing risk and control management Experience working with Assessable Units (AUs) — groupings of interconnected business processes Ability to identify and map Unique Business Processes (UBPs) into an end-to-end process Experience building or contributing to process-level risk and control assessments Translating AUs into process maps using tools such as ARIS (strong asset) Nice to Have Experience in wholesale banking or derivatives operations Familiarity with ARIS (process mapping tool) Experience interacting with front office/trading teams What We’re Looking For Strong communicator with high stakeholder interaction experience Someone who can hit the ground running and work independently Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Why Apply? ✅ Long-term contract opportunity ✅ Strong exposure to Governance, Risk & Control frameworks ✅ Opportunity to work on enterprise-level RCSA programs ✅ Collaborative and high-impact environment Interview Process Up to 2 onsite interviews Target interviews: next week Use AI for Hiring: Our recruitment process for this role includes the use of AI-based tools to help evaluate candidate qualifications and screen applications.
