Analyst, Procurement Process and Data
position
for up to
20
months
working out of Edmonton, AB.
This is an excellent opportunity for a team-oriented individual with excellent process and data analytical skills to grow their Supply Chain Management career.
As the Procurement Process and Data Analyst, you will be accountable for the day-to-day Analytics & Reporting
functions
including providing and interpreting purchasing,
spending
, data, testing, analytics, reporting, and procedural subject matter expertise.
You
will also provide support
and training on Oracle Purchasing, iProcurement, Business Intelligence, Microsoft SharePoint
,
Excel,
PowerBI, DataBricks,
and lead Procurement Continuous Improvement project level meetings.

Maintaining dashboards, databases, and SharePoint sites.

Providing advanced SharePoint administration.

Leading procurement

category
management
, or improvement
processes from
initiation
to
implementation
.

Advising stakeholders on procurement risks and supporting R2P/S2C processes.

Review

procurement and

data collection

and reporting methods and practices to identify gaps

recommendati
ons and implement improvements.

Provid
ing
support in developing, testing, and delivering
procurement
processes, a
nd training documents/
materials
.

Provid

timely and
responsive customer service to s
takeholders

resolving issues and advanci
ng complex concerns as required

Utiliz
ing
spreadsheets, analytic tools, statistics, machine learning, and databases to analyze data and produce reports and dashboards that support
procurement

decisions
.
What’s required to be successful
-
Completion of a
two-year
Diploma in
Supply Chain Management
(or a
business-
related field
in
Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Finance,
Operations Management
, etc.
) from a recognized post-secondary educational institute.
-
Purchasing Designation (C.P.P certificate, SCMP or C.P.M. or C.P.P.B.)
is preferred.
-

4-6
years
of
demonstrated experience in applying analytical skills related to data, process
,
and systems analysis in a b
usiness environment
.
-
Comprehensive experience
and knowledge
in assisting in negotiating commercial terms and conditions and competitive bidding laws
-
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with
Microsoft
(Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Visio, Power BI,
DataBricks,
SQL,
etc.)
.
-
Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Oracle or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
.
-
Demonstrated understanding of the entire procurement process starting with
Identification
of need
through
contract execution and management
.
-
Past work experience working in a utility company or large corporation
is an asset.
-
Experience in category
management, sourcing,
and negotiating contracts
would be considered an asset
.
-
Experience in providing and/or facilitating training
would be
considered an asset
.
