Lead 13+ Wonder Auto & Tire Centers to the Next Level!

We are looking for a powerhouse Head of Operations to oversee 13 current Wonder Auto & Tire automotive service centers in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, as well as to help lead our growth to more high quality locations. This position is the driving force behind operational consistency, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all service centers. By aligning people, processes, and performance, the Head of Operations ensures that every shop delivers top notch service, maximizes revenue from parts and labor, and operates efficiently. Their leadership directly impacts employee development, customer retention, and long term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full operational leadership of 13 independent automotive service centers across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
- Elevate each location to peak performance through process standardization, staff coaching, and accountability.
- Analyze and act on key metrics including parts sales, labor efficiency, CSI scores, technician productivity, and overall center profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and empower Regional Managers, Branch Managers, Service Managers, and their teams to achieve and exceed operational goals.
- Partner with ownership and executive leadership to execute strategic initiatives, manage workforce planning, and support expansion objectives.
- Instill a “customer first” culture in every location, every technician, every advisor, every interaction.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency.
- Identify training needs and roll out continuous development programs for service advisors, technicians, and leadership staff.
- Manage budgets, cost controls, and P&L responsibilities for all locations, ensuring strong financial performance.
- Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarks to inform ongoing improvement strategies.
- Drive innovation in service processes, technology adoption, and customer engagement to keep our operations ahead of the curve.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental laws, and labor regulations.
Who are we looking for:
- Have 5+ years of experience leading multi location automotive service operations, or 10+ years of experience in leadership in a high-performing automotive service environment.
- Thrive in fast paced, hands on environments where people, process, and performance intersect
- Know your way around Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relevant to high performing service operations.
- Are a natural leader who can inspire high standards, build trust, and grow teams
- See challenges as opportunities and drive change with confidence
- Be tech savvy, able to navigate software and other technologies easily
