Key Information

Hours: 10 hour days on a 5/2 schedule. Overtime as required. Hourly rate is dependent on experience. Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.

Job Description

Safely transporting equipment and materials to sites with a truck and gooseneck. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed. Loading, offloading, and securely strapping down equipment. Performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers. Compliance with safety regulations. Communicating with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.

Experience and Certifications

Hotshot trucking experience preferred. Valid class 5 driver's license. Frequently requires driving in all weather conditions. Experience with gooseneck trailers is required. Must be reliable and professional. Ability to secure heavy cargo and work in varying weather conditions. The right candidate will have a strong work ethic, be safety-conscious, and be committed to timely deliveries. A clean driver's abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date. A reliable means of transportation is required. Proficient English language skills is required. Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required. Go ahead and be yourself. We'll pay you for it! We are an equal opportunity employer.
