The AI Developer is responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions that enhance business processes, improve user experiences, and enable data‑driven decision‑making. This role collaborates with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver intelligent applications using modern AI frameworks, large language models (LLMs), automation tools, and scalable cloud platforms.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: AI Solution Development

• Develop and deploy machine learning models, natural language processing (NLP) systems, generative AI applications, and predictive analytics solutions.
• Build AI-powered features such as chatbots, recommendation engines, document understanding systems, and automation workflows.
• Implement and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) using frameworks such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.

Software Engineering & Integration

• Build robust APIs, microservices, and cloud-native AI applications.
• Integrate AI models into production systems using Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or related languages.
• Develop data pipelines and model-serving endpoints for real-time or batch inference.

Data Engineering & Model Lifecycle

• Prepare, clean, and transform data for AI model development.
• Implement MLOps best practices, including versioning, monitoring, retraining, and continuous model improvement.
• Evaluate model performance using statistical and ML evaluation metrics.

AI Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure AI systems are transparent, secure, and compliant with organizational standards and industry regulations.
• Apply responsible AI principles, bias testing, data privacy controls, and explainability techniques.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess use cases and develop AI proof-of-concepts and production-ready solutions.
• Document processes, models, code, and architectural decisions.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot AI-related issues.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 2–3 years of experience building machine learning, NLP, or AI-driven applications.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, and model fine‑tuning.
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, Redis Vector).
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data engineering fundamentals and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
