Business Development Administrator - 1 Year Contract
The Business Development Administrator is responsible for supporting a variety of marketing and business development initiatives, both internally and externally. You will gain hands-on experience working on proposals, communications, marketing materials, and event coordination while contributing to the growth and visibility of the organization.
How will you contribute to the team?
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of proposal qualification packages for submission to potential and existing clients
- Supporting the development of internal and external communications, including company newsletters, portals, social media, and website content
- Providing coordination and administrative support for business development initiatives, such as client partnering events
- Conducting research and information gathering to support marketing initiatives, primarily through internet research
- Performing additional administrative and marketing support duties as required
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing or Business
- 2–3 years of experience in a similar administrative, marketing, or business development support role
- Prior experience within AEC organizations (architecture, engineering, or general contracting) is considered an asset
- Familiarity with creative software applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset
- Strong general administration and marketing support skills
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including creative writing, proofreading, and editing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization abilities
- Collaborative team player with effective time management skills
Working Conditions:
- Office and site-based position.
