Role: Mechanical Engineering Specialist (Remote)
Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $50 - $70/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on a contract basis. The role involves designing and optimizing mechanical systems for production environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Perform tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues in existing systems and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with FEA and CFD simulations is required.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes is required.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
