As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar’s operations. This includes creating a welcoming environment, mixing traditional and seasonal beverages, and creating exceptional guest experiences.
As The Bar Manager, You Are Responsible For Overseeing the daily operations of the bar, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage inventory, control costs, and handle ordering of all bar-related supplies
Monitor and ensure consistent quality in all drinks served
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
The Bar Manager will work a combination of bartending and supervisory shifts throughout the week.
Requirements Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Lead Bartender, or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-volume service
Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
Serving It Right accreditation
Must be able to work 35-40 hours per week
Must be able to arrive at YVR by 3am from time to time (no public transit available until 5:15am) and be able to work late nights (no public transit available after 12:45am)
