Job Description
Overview Join a world-class nuclear engineering team at AtkinsRéalis and contribute to the delivery of complex EPC projects that shape the future of clean energy. This role is part of our nuclear engineering group and supports the Cernavoda EPC project, working closely with the Technical Piping Manager. You will play a key role in the design, analysis, and delivery of critical piping systems for nuclear power stations, applying your expertise to high‑impact engineering challenges.
Your Role
To prepare and review piping stress models and perform seismic and non‑seismic stress analyses in accordance with applicable nuclear codes and standards. To design and review nuclear and non‑nuclear piping supports and perform related calculations using recognized analytical tools. To prepare and review design and stress reports for piping systems and supports. To review piping drawings, flow diagrams, and related design documentation, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance. To support pressure boundary modifications and the preparation of TSSA registration packages, interfacing with regulatory bodies as required. To coordinate and review design inputs and outputs, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with the QA program. To mentor junior engineers and designers while providing timely technical guidance and engineering resolutions.
About You
Ability to apply advanced piping stress analysis and support design expertise within nuclear EPC or EPCM projects. Proficiency in relevant codes and standards, including CSA N285, ASME Section III Division 1, and ASME B31.1. Aptitude for performing seismic analysis of nuclear piping systems and seismically qualified supports. Ability to prepare and review comprehensive design and stress reports for nuclear piping systems. Strong communication skills and aptitude for effective collaboration with clients, regulators, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
