Legal Assistant We are in search of a corporate/commercial legal assistant to support our in-house legal department. Working closely with our in-house legal team, this legal assistant must be self-motivated and enthusiastic and possess the skills detailed below.
This is a full-time, permanent position that will support our core businesses. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively in a fun team environment, be motivated, and demonstrate the ability to work well with a team and independently.

The Successful Candidate’s Responsibilities Will Include
- Prepare, format, edit, and maintain legal documents including contracts, agreements, resolutions, policies, and correspondence
- Assist with contract lifecycle management (tracking, renewals, execution, filing)
- Prepare and maintain corporate records, minute books, and entity documentation
- Coordinate signatures and document execution
- Manage legal calendars, diarize deadlines, and reminders
- Track legal spend, invoices, and external counsel billing
- Maintain an efficient filing system and legal databases
- Ensure document control, version management, and retention standards are followed
- Performing general administrative duties as required, such as printing, photocopying, scanning and binder assembly
The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have
- Works well within a team and independently
- Graduate of a recognized legal assistant program (equivalencies may be considered)
- Experience in a corporate/commercial practice (either in-house or law firm) preferred
- Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and document or contract management software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including proofreading, spelling and grammar skills
- Strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deadlines and complete them under time constraints
- Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, professional team environment
- A client-focused approach and commitment to providing exceptional service to internal clients
