Job Title: Material Handler
Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load and unload materials and productions within the manufacturing facility.
Responsibility
-
Safely operate forklifts to move materials, products and equipment throughout the manufacturing facility
-
Load and unload trucks, trailers, and storage areas, ensuing that materials are handled with care
-
Transport raw materials and packing to production lines and finishes goods to designated storage or shipping areas

Empty scrap metal bins as required
-
Ensure materials are properly stacked, secured and stored to prevent damage or accidents
-
Entering shipping and receiving information into applicable computer software and programs as required Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations and other safety standards
Academic/Educational Requirements
High school diploma or qualification
Required Skills/Experience
-
Valid Forklift Certificate 1-2 years operation counterbalance forklifts and other material handling equipment, preferably in a manufacturing environment
