Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Camera Rental Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries related to camera rentals, primarily via phone and email.
- Collect and maintain job-related information including production name, type, dates, and contact details.
- Assist in gathering required customer documentation such as insurance certificates, billing and shipping information.
- Generate quotes and enter equipment orders into the rental system.
- Coordinate with the prep floor and technical team during camera preps to ensure equipment accuracy and readiness.
- Procure and process subrentals, including pricing, purchase orders, and communication with vendors and shipping teams.
- Communicate equipment changes and associated costs to clients, ensuring approvals are received prior to release.
- Process missing and damaged equipment reports and communicate with clients regarding resolutions.
- Support accurate billing by verifying rental charges and ensuring all necessary information is on file.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the rental system and ensure proper documentation.
- Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Stay informed on new camera equipment and technologies to better support client needs.
- Follow all departmental policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a motion picture rental house, preferably in a camera CSR or administrative role.
- Familiarity with rental software systems.
- Working knowledge of production workflows and camera equipment (ARRI and Sony experience is an asset).
- Post-secondary education in a film-related program is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Experience in customer service and/or project coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job. Base Pay Range
