Position: Geriatric Psychiatrist – AI Trainer
Type: Contract (Full-time or Part-time)
Compensation: $100–$200/hr
Location: Remote
Duration: 10–40 hrs/week, flexible and asynchronous
Requirements: (Training support will be provided)
- MD or equivalent degree with specialization in Psychiatry
- Demonstrated clinical experience in geriatric psychiatry
- Deep understanding of psychiatric assessment and interventions for elderly populations
- Strong clinical judgment with attention to ethical and patient-centered care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly translate complex clinical concepts for technical and non-clinical audiences
- High attention to detail when reviewing clinical content
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities in a remote setting
- Comfort collaborating with cross-functional, AI-focused teams
Preferred:
- Fellowship or additional training in geriatric psychiatry
- Peer-reviewed research publications in psychiatry, geriatrics, or related fields
- Prior experience working with clinical guidelines, rubrics, or decision-support tools
- Exposure to AI, clinical informatics, or healthcare technology projects
- Experience reviewing or validating medical content for accuracy and empathy
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine clinical rubrics to guide AI model training in geriatric psychiatry
- Provide subject matter expertise on complex geriatric psychiatric conditions and interventions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for clinical accuracy, appropriateness, and empathy
- Annotate and review psychiatric scenarios to improve AI clinical reasoning
- Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, and product teams to optimize model performance
- Document detailed feedback to enhance AI communication and decision-making quality
- Stay current with advancements in geriatric psychiatry and mental health care
- Contribute to discussions aimed at improving AI utility in geriatric mental health settings
