Summary of Duties

Prepares surgical case carts for regular specialized and emergency situations.

Operates decontamination equipment, prepares and packages sterile instrumentation/supplies, ensuring all quality indicators are met

Operates all sterilization equipment.

Delivery and pick-up of supplies.
Qualifications/Skills
- Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate required
- Instrumentation experience essential
- Previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC is essential
- Applicants with previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC will be given priority
- Broad knowledge of all surgical services and complex instrumentation
- O.R. technical experience preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to function as a team member as well as independently
- Ability to work and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in case cart preparation
- Competent computer skills
