Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Dispatch Manager to join their operations team. This is a dynamic, high-responsibility role for a skilled clinical professional who thrives in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.
Reporting to the Director of Medical Operations, the Clinical Dispatch Manager is the central hub for coordinating patient transport logistics — including emergent and interfacility movements. This individual will triage patients, prioritize transport needs, and ensure the right clinical asset is deployed for every situation.

Key Responsibilities
Triage and prioritize patient transport needs, directing appropriate aircraft and clinical crew for each movement Provide leadership and direction to all clinical personnel in partnership with Medical Managers and Online Medical Control (OLMC) Facilitate conference calls for clinical consults and liaise with all stakeholders including Online Medical Control Collaborate with clients and flight operations to pair aircraft assets with the most suitable clinical crew Delegate tasks to frontline staff to ensure efficient use of duty days Attend daily operational meetings to maintain open communication within the Operational Control department Maintain working knowledge of electronic patient care record (ePCR) software to support frontline staff Ensure regulatory compliance across all contractual medevac operations Enforce Health and Safety protocols in all workplace environments Perform training needs analysis through chart audits and collaborate with the education team on learning requirements Monitor confidential personal health information in compliance with privacy protocols Ensure all incident reports, patient complaints, and unusual occurrences are reported in collaboration with Supervisors, Managers, and the company SMS program Maintain and backfill AMC personnel schedules; coordinate OLMC schedule submissions with the Medical Director Prepare and organize monthly reports, statistics, and all departmental records as required Manage medevac operations within defined budget parameters Protect patients and staff by interpreting infection-control policies and enforcing medication and controlled substance procedures Uphold professional and technical knowledge through ongoing education, publications, and professional networks
Qualifications & Experience
Active registration with CRNM (College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba) as a Nurse, CPMB (College of Paramedics of Manitoba) as an Advanced Care Paramedic, or MARRT (Manitoba Association of Registered Respiratory Therapists) as a Respiratory Therapist University degree in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy, or Advanced Care Paramedic Certificate — or equivalent education and experience Ability to obtain Instructor Certification in BCLS, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, and CAMATA as required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Strong leadership skills with progressive management experience
Valid Canadian driver's license Valid Canadian passport Ability to apply for and obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) pass Aboriginal Awareness and/or Cultural Diversity training
Considered Assets
Previous experience in the medical aviation industry
Prior management or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
