Description Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Director, Program Delivery is responsible for the strategic leadership and collaboration for development of new risk management programs and services and the improvement and realignment of existing programs. This role is key in servicing stakeholder relationships and leading the governance framework with provincial government partners.
The Role
In This Role, You Will
- Maintain key strategic relationships with significant stakeholders, including federal and provincial government partners, ensuring communication and protocols are in place to facilitate healthy and open discussions to stay abreast of changing requirements and emerging trends
- Sponsor projects and initiatives that keep Agricorp programs relevant to its customers and compliant with changing government priorities
- Ensure the seamless integration of program developments or improvements into operational implementation and tactical plans
- Provide leadership and technical support to functional teams in the area of program development, business analysis services, program analysis and analytics, governance and accountability, industry relations, and program design and policy.
- Lead regular reviews of current programs and policies and ensure they are aligned with government priorities and reporting
- Ensure proactive and collaborative partnerships with federal and provincial government partners on all program and policy related matters
- Participate in, and attend, industry and government meetings, conferences and discussions to represent the needs of Agricorp
- As a member of the senior leadership team, contribute to the strategic and operational planning and budgeting for the agency
- Lead the Program Development division, ensuring a healthy and positive work environment that supports the ongoing development and professional growth of leaders and employees through effective coaching and performance management
Job status: Permanent
Salary: $156,976 - $174,420
Work status: Full time in office
Location: Must live in Ontario to perform this role
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in business administration, finance/commerce or agriculture with industry specific experience
- Minimum 10 years’ progressive management experience in the agricultural industry and the development and or delivery of public sector programs
- Proven experience in strategic leadership and stakeholder relationship management
