Join us at an exciting time as we launch a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario! We are seeking a detail-oriented Gun Drill Operator to support precision drilling operations in a high-performance machining environment. Ability and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
What You Will Be Doing
Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:
- Set up and operate gun drill machines to drill accurate, deep holes in various materials
- Monitor the drilling process and ensure consistent output and alignment with specifications
- Use measuring instruments to verify part accuracy
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Embody, demonstrate, and reinforce the #1ANDRITZway core values and behaviors and promote a positive work environment

What We're Looking For
When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in operating drilling equipment (ideally gun drill machines)
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings
- Prior experience in precision machining environments preferred
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Willingness to work either day or afternoon shift
