We are looking for a Web Developer, Marketing to join our team at Investment Planning Counsel – a Canada Life subsidiary for Individual Wealth.
The Web Developer, Marketing is responsible for supporting the creation, customization, and maintenance of advisor websites and digital experiences. This role is ideal for someone passionate about web development and audience engagement, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that enhance advisor visibility and effectiveness. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and third party vendors to ensure web projects move efficiently through planning, development, and deployment.
What you will do
- Primary point of contact for IPC Advisors to set up and customize their digital presence
- Ability to design, build (CSS, Javascript, jQuery and HTML), and modify websites as needed
- Ongoing Advisor website support and content management
- Create quarterly website analytics reports
- Keep up to date on trends in web marketing/promotion and introduce new options for increasing visibility and effectiveness of the websites
- Provide reports on the effectiveness of the website program and look for ways to improve it
- Participate in all project based information gathering meetings with Project Planning & Development team
- Coordinate gathering content from all departments, approving content, inputting content into CMS and/or template, coordinating deployment with IT
- Conduct all user acceptance testing as required
- Build and design custom widgets and templates as needed
- Support infrastructure teams for domain and SSL certificate management
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in web development or a related field
- Minimum 4-5 year experience, preferably working as part of a marketing team
- Solid knowledge and experience in web development applications
- Proficient in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- Strongly motivated and passionate about driving innovative solutions, exceeding goals, and contributing to a dynamic team environment
- Relationship-building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term client relationships
- Excellent time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Ability to leverage project management skills to manage various projects with internal teams and external vendors
- Strong attention to detail to deliver high quality output
The base salary for this position is between $58,600 - $ 97,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
