Digital Attractions has been providing unique and memorable photo opportunities for guests of Niagara Falls since 2004. We have photo operations stationed at iconic tourist attractions such as the Boat Tour, Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Takes Flight, the Niagara Parks Power Station, and the Butterfly Conservatory.

This opening is specifically for our photo operation inside of the Butterfly Conservatory building located on the Niagara River Parkway. This seasonal position will run until approximately November (opportunities for extension based on operational needs may arise but are not guaranteed).

Hours of Work: Full-time (30-40 hours). Preference will be given to candidates with open availability including weekdays and weekends.

Position **Overview:**Photo Production & Sales Representatives rotate between the photo capture station and the sales counter, working as a team to serve guests and provide them with photo opportunities. Combined responsibilities of this position cover all aspects of the photo production process, including capture, editing, printing, sales, and customer service.

Job Duties:

• Greet guests with a smile and pleasant acknowledgement as they approach the photo capture area
• Keep lines moving quickly and efficiently
• Take a quick and quality image of guests
• Follow trained procedures on operation of equipment
• Monitor the quality of the photos and capture a retake if necessary
• Ensure guests have their photo claim ticket so they can view their photo after the attraction
• Look after and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is in working order
• Edit and print digital photos with special attention to detail
• Do paper changes as necessary
• Look after and maintain the photo labs/printers ensuring all are in working order
• Keep daily inventory of paper and necessary chemicals
• Show and sell guests their photo as they approach the photo gallery
• Accurately and efficiently operate point of sale systems and accurately maintain all transactions
• Package photos for the guests
• Look after and maintain all the gallery equipment ensuring it is all in working order
• Keep the area clean and tidy
• Perform additional duties as directed by Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Manager

On-the-job training is provided for the use of our photography equipment and software. Prior experience is not required.

Working Conditions and Requirements:

• Positions require standing for long periods of time
• Shift work requiring a flexible schedule
• Must be available for opening shifts starting as early as 8:50 AM, in addition to closing shifts ending as late as 8:00 PM. Kindly note that certain public transit schedules for this area may not align with the hours of operation at this location, so potential candidates should plan transportation accordingly.
