**General Description:**The Activities Co-Ordinator is responsible for the creative design, programming, coordinating and hosting (as appropriate) events/outings/field trips (social; recreational; activity; sporting; community; experiential) for the colleagues of Fox Harb’r Resort with a goal of providing socialization, a sense of community, and fun for all involved.

  • Create/develop an Activities Plan for the season against a budget allocation, that provides significant variety and inclusion for Resort Colleagues.

  • Designing and programing of a monthly calendar of events with final approval of the Director of Golf Operations and Human Resources (timely issuing for colleague signup and scheduling consideration).

  • Host events as appropriate.

  • Solicit managers and colleagues to assist with executing larger special projects as required.

  • Ensure that all safety protocols are maintained regardless of the activity or its location. The health, safety and security of the colleague participants is of the utmost importance.

  • Co-ordinate with designated drivers all the necessary transportation needs.

  • Schedule with designated drivers Dormees appointments (ie Medical appts; groceries) as well as shopping expeditions; Pub nights; movie nights etc. into Tatamagouche, Pugwash or Truro.

  • Acquires, maintains and inventory controls all of the needed equipment designated to this division of HR.

  • Work with off-property locations (through relationships with Executive Chef and others) for Wine Tours; Vinyard visit; golf or activity swapping with other locations.

  • Ensure that all Municipal and Provincial permits/permissions are in-hand.

  • Ensure that all “releases” as necessary as signoff and submitted on behalf of the participants in any designated activity.

  • Evaluate the success of all non-routine events/activities with a brief report of attendees and all/any noteworthy feedback, incidents, concerns or critiques, submitting same to Director of Golf Operation and Human Resources.

  • Professionally handle any conflict between colleagues (report same as appropriate to HR).

  • Collect as required any fees for certain activities, ensuring care is taken around Cash controls etc. with accounting.
