Job Title: Steamfitter / Pipefitter Full-Time - Permanent
Location: Sterling Road, Toronto, Ontario
Hourly Rate: $44.10/hour
About the Role:
We are currently hiring a licensed Steamfitter / Pipefitter (307A) for a full-time permanent role at our facility in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food or pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair piping and plumbing systems.
- Perform maintenance on pumps and valves (an asset).
- Interpret and follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Use computer systems (factory systems, SAP) to document and execute tasks.
- Execute duties with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.
- Support a 24/7 operation with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to urgent needs.
- Conduct quality checks and adhere to GMP standards.
- Follow ISO 14001 Environmental and OHSAS 18001 Safety requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (NQMS) and company quality policy.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Steamfitter License (307A) Required
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance Preferred
- Experience in food or pharmaceutical industry Preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and literacy
- Proficient computer skills; SAP experience is an asset
- Proven reliability and good attendance record
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and off-shifts as needed
