About Nithview Community:
Nithview Community is a seniors' community designed to provide several types of accommodation and services. Residents are able to choose the type of accommodation that is most appropriate for their care needs and continue to live within the community of care as their needs change. Emphasis is placed on assisting residents to live life to the fullest in this dynamic residential setting.
About the Position:
As part of the maintenance team, provide support for facilities systems and asset management at Nithview Community. Will be responsible for working with the maintenance team to update asset records, set up sensors, scan and organize building blueprints, and help keep all buildings' systems accurate and up to date.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with data entry, digital record-keeping, or facility/asset management systems is an asset; familiarity with scanners, computers, and basic office software is preferred, preferably in a healthcare environment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Basic knowledge of computers, databases, and digital recordkeeping.
- Understanding of facility maintenance systems, asset management, or building operations is an asset.
- Ability to update and organize records accurately in systems like Maintenance Care.
- Experience or comfort with scanning and digitizing documents or blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with maintenance and administrative staff.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Summer Opportunities generally start in May and end at the beginning of September.
New employees will be required to complete a vulnerable sector check (or sign a declaration if under 18 years of age) and TB test as part of the onboarding process.
