Role Summary The Finance Manager – FP&A is an integral leader on the finance team. They are responsible for enabling holistic financial planning, reporting, and analysis for the organization while also leading SG&A management and planning in partnership with key stakeholders. They play a critical role in the month-end close, monthly estimates, annual planning processes by influencing strategy, ensuring timeliness & accuracy, and delivering insights.

This role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, effective relationship building, sense of ownership & accountability, as well as solid analytical acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop KPI reporting to flag key issues and ensure alignment across finance teams
  • Provide leadership to the month-end close and monthly forecast process by [1] ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to financial deadlines [2] evaluating performance against financial targets and KPIs, and [3] highlighting trends, risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations
  • Play a pivotal role in the annual planning process, ensuring alignment and coordination across finance, commercial, and operational teams.
  • Drive connectivity in financial commentary building between various finance teams (including commercial finance, operations finance, and the controller's group) and cross functional teams
  • Provide end-to-end leadership for SG&A management processes, working with key stakeholders to drive accountability and cost efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
  • Mentor, develop, and inspire a team of two direct reports to deliver excellent results

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (business, finance or accounting specialization preferred). Accounting designation (CPA) and/or MBA is an asset.
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting. CPG or Bev/Alc experience is an asset.
  • Experience partnering and influencing cross-functional partners, with a solutions-oriented approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to deliver results through others by setting team priorities, coaching for growth and championing continuous improvement.
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills. Comfortable developing and delivering presentations to senior management
  • Proactive and ambitious mindset, willing to challenge the status quo to improve the business.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, multitasking and time management skills
  • Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, JDE, or other BI tools an asset.

Compensation : Budgeted Range – $101,355.00 - $131,165.00 The budgeted range takes into account several factors and qualifications that are considered in making compensation decisions including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications, and other business and organizational requirements. Base pay is only one component of the total rewards offering at Arterra.
