Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Podcast Assistant to support the production of our company podcast. This entry-level role is ideal for someone early in their media or communications career who is eager to build hands-on experience in guest booking, episode coordination, and content production, while helping share insights on drone technology and its real-world applications with a growing audience.

Key Responsibilities

Support outreach, scheduling, and confirmation of podcast guests, including industry experts, thought leaders, and internal stakeholders. Assist in researching potential guests and maintaining an organized guest pipeline with timely follow-ups. Help coordinate episode logistics, including calendars, recording schedules, and pre-interview briefing materials. Support basic scripting and episode planning in collaboration with the marketing team. Assist with light audio editing, file organization, and publishing tasks across podcast platforms. Track episode performance metrics and help compile summary reports. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure podcast content aligns with company objectives and brand voice. Provide general administrative support to the podcast production process, including note-taking and follow-up communications.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in podcast production, media coordination, communications, or a related field; internship or academic project experience is welcomed. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable initiating and maintaining professional relationships with guests and stakeholders. Familiarity with podcast platforms and basic audio production tools is an asset. Genuine interest in technology and innovation; familiarity with drones or the AI/tech sector is a plus. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Familiarity with Riverside.fm or Zencastr for remote recording. Knowledge of RSS management, publishing workflows, and analytics tools (Spotify for Podcasters, Chartable, etc.).
