About Apollo Scooters
Apollo's mission is to make short distance travel better.
Over 80% of trips taken globally are shorter than 10 kilometres. Whether it's commuting to work, picking up groceries, or going to a nearby event - the vast majority of travel happens within a small proximity to our homes. Apollo set out to prove that commuters do not need to compromise - electric scooters are better, more convenient, environmentally friendly, and exponentially more fun than any other mode of transportation used for short distances. Unsatisfied by the options provided by scooter sharing companies, Apollo started as an electric scooter distributor focusing on high quality vehicles that became real transportation alternatives in an ocean of poorly designed electric scooters.
Encouraged by initial success, Apollo designed and launched its first proprietarily built scooter - the Apollo Phantom. Leveraging its extensive retail expertise, deep post-purchase support knowledge, and engineering competency, the Apollo team set out to redefine the status quo. Achieving a record sell-out within the first 48 hours of launch, the Phantom instantly became the new benchmark for build quality and user features in the electric scooter category. Today, the Phantom is sold globally in over 10 countries in a number of variants, while continuing to receive accolades from industry experts (such as "the most anticipated electric scooter of 2021" by Electric Scooter Guide).
Today, Apollo is focused on solving hardware and software challenges that will allow it to build the micro-mobility vehicle of the future. All vehicles are designed, developed, and tested at the HQ in Montreal, Canada. Apollo continues to rely on internal and external quality control systems to ensure the highest level of build quality in all of its vehicles, including a 5,000KM roll test for every new vehicle.
