La Foret is looking for a cook to join our team at our Coquitlam / Burnaby location!

Title: Kitchen Staff(Line & Prep Cook)

Work Location -1135 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3P4 -6848 Jubilee Ave, Burnaby, BC V5J 4B3

Wage: $18-20/hour

Hours of Work: 20-40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Part-Time, Full - Time, Permanent

Benefit: Staff Discount, Weekend Staff Meal, 4% of gross salary or 10 days of paid vacation, extended health and dental

*Job Duties: *

• Memorizing recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
• Preparing ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant?s menu
• Maintaining freshness of product and FIFO
• Working with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination
• Being aware of and following all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines

Job Requirements:

• Food Safe Certification Level 1 mandatory
• Minimum 1 year working in kitchen
• Flexible to work on evening, weekends and holidays
