At the Lethbridge Recovery Centre, we provide a transformative 24/7 medically supported detox program, empowering adults to overcome withdrawal and reclaim their lives. Our Lethbridge Opioid Dependency Program offers essential 12-hour daily outpatient services, specializing in Narcotic Transition Services for those facing severe opioid addiction. Meanwhile, the Cardston Opioid Dependency Treatment Program ensures accessible weekday care at the Cardston Health Centre. Together, we are a force for change, dedicated to delivering impactful, lifesaving support in our community.

Description:
The Lethbridge Recovery Centre has agreements for all food, cleaning and physician services. The Manager must: ensure familiarity with and understands the compliance for contracted services; the budget supports the services delivered; the service provider is in compliance with providing services as per the contract; must be aware of all Policies in regards to the contracted services being provided; infection and control standards and principles are followed when applicable for the services being delivered; standards and guidelines are followed when applicable, according to type of services being provided; Quality Management; Conflict Resolution; Patient Concerns Resolution.
There are approximately 10% staff on site that are contracted. The Lethbridge Opioid Dependency Program also contracts through a Property Management company for the site, including cleaning services. Physicians provide support to the site through an arrangement with the provincial Virtual Opioid Dependency Program. The Cardston Opioid Dependency Treatment program is located within the Cardston Health Centre and has contracted physician support through a private clinic, as well as will evolve to include support from the Virtual Opioid Dependency Program.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health profession (a combination of education and experience may be considered). Eligibility for registration with an Alberta regulated health profession. Demonstrated ongoing professional and personal development. Minimum five years of related experience in a complex, diverse organization; healthcare experience is an asset. Ability to manage diverse human, financial, and physical resources. Demonstrated change management capabilities and experience solving complex issues. Strong organizational skills, client focused mindset, and commitment to quality services. Business degree with a clinical component may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of fostering partnerships and supporting organizational goals in unionized environments. Ability to build relationships with public agencies, government entities, and community partners. Experience collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Nursing degree or a master’s degree in nursing preferred.
