The Marketing Communications Specialist, Global Marketing, connects the NORR brand with global audiences through compelling, strategically aligned content. As a brand storyteller, you thrive on creating engaging experiences across digital channels. This role combines strong writing, attention to detail, and project organization skills to advance integrated campaigns and content initiatives while supporting broader business objectives. A natural collaborator and proactive facilitator, you keep content workflows on track and maintain brand consistency across deliverables, translating complex ideas into clear, impactful messages that resonate with target audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates compelling content primarily for web and social media that drive engagement and build brand awareness
  • Facilitates workflows and approvals, coordinates feedback and supports project and campaign priorities to stay on schedule across teams and stakeholders
  • Uses content performance insights to optimize engagement and inform future initiatives
  • Collaborates on media outreach and editorial calendar coordination
  • Leverages AI-driven tools and platforms to enhance content creation, optimize messaging, and personalization
  • Participates in ideation to evolve content strategy
  • Supports social media operations, scheduling, monitoring, and optimizing posts to maximize reach and engagement

Required Skills

  • Have successfully completed related post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Relations or related field
  • Strong research, writing and editing skills
  • Results-oriented and data driven
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of balancing competing priorities
  • Technical proficiency with digital publishing, content management, analytics and social media tools
  • Experience with Open Asset and Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in communications, digital marketing, or agency environment
  • Experience in the AEC industry and/or professional services
