This position offers the opportunity to shape strategic education initiatives, develop innovative member engagement programs, and drive meaningful improvements in financial literacy and retirement readiness. Accountabilities
Develop and own the strategic roadmap for education and engagement programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and member outcome objectives. Lead the design, launch, and continuous improvement of education initiatives, including webinars, workshops, events, digital content, and multi-channel engagement journeys. Manage multiple concurrent initiatives from concept through execution, coordinating timelines, dependencies, stakeholders, and delivery across cross-functional teams. Use member research, voice-of-customer insights, behavioral science, and segmentation strategies to identify educational needs and enhance engagement. Establish measurement frameworks and performance reporting processes to evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous optimization. Act as a subject matter expert on education and member engagement, providing guidance on content strategy, technology enhancements, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry trends. Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across the organization to build consensus, communicate program vision, and support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, or a related discipline. 7-10+ years of progressive experience in product management, program management, or customer engagement within the financial services industry. Demonstrated experience developing financial literacy initiatives, adult education programs, or member engagement strategies. Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities within matrixed organizations while influencing stakeholders without direct authority. Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to guide decision-making and improve outcomes. Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and relationship management skills. Strong organizational abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and an agile approach to navigating change and evolving priorities. Knowledge of the Canadian retirement ecosystem, including group pension plans, RRSPs, TFSAs, and regulatory considerations, is considered a strong asset. Familiarity with engagement analytics, webinar platforms, content management systems, and digital production tools is preferred. Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.
