Title:BusinessProcess Lead, Asset Protection

Position Overview:

The Business Process Lead, Asset Protection, leverages expertise in process improvement, superior communication skills, and high-level quantitative skills to reduce shrink through actionable data-driven decisions. As a strong and effective communicator, Business Process Lead, Asset Protection translates technical nuances into an accessible shared language to drive organizational alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Operational Integration

  • Seamlessly integrate Asset Protection protocols into front end, back end, and sales-driving operations to minimize risk.

  • Partnering with cross-functional partners to ensure AP strategies support overall business goals and customer service standards.

Process Improvement and Project Management

  • Lead the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes focused on overall loss prevention and efficiency.

  • Act as the primary lead for change management ensuring new AP technologies and workflows are adopted without friction.

  • Oversee relationships with third-party technology and other vendors, ensuring systems meet performance and ROI benchmarks.

Data Analytics and Financial Oversight

  • Quantitative problem solving by using data and financial analyses to identify root causes of inventory shrink and operational gaps.

  • Translate complex data sets into clear and accessible reporting or insights that drive strategic decision-making for leadership.

  • Performs comprehensive financial analysis to isolate root cause of inventory variances and delivers evidence-based recommendations to support process improvement

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serves as the subject matter expert between asset protection, operations, and other cross-functional business teams.

  • Presents findings and strategic recommendations to all levels of leadership.

  • Understanding of Home Depot’s current business processes (in store, Store Support, Supply Chain, Inventory, Merchandising, etc.) preferred

  • Understanding of Home Depot systems (SAP, GBQ, etc.) preferred

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Reports to the Sr Manager of Asset Protection Process

  • Direct reports: None

Travel Requirements:

  • 10-20%

Physical Requirements:

  • Standard office setting

Hybrid Work:

  • Onsite (5 days in office with regular/frequent visits to store locations)

WorkingConditions:

  • Office

  • Occasional work in store warehouse environment that can be dusty and noisy

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

The pay range for this position is between $55,100.00 - $62,000.00
