About the role
Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives in both high-level planning and hands-on execution? Step into a key strategic role with a well-established communications and media software company as their next Group Finance Director. In this role, you will act as a key strategic business partner to senior leadership while providing hands-on support to Finance Teams across existing and newly acquired business units. This role is ideal for a results-oriented, detail-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized, and manages multiple priorities with accuracy. Main responsibilities:
- Review and validate BU submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Perform quality assurance and provide insightful commentary and analysis
- Support the timely closure of books and coordinate internal/external audit queries
- Function as superuser for financial systems and reporting tools, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Own sub-group financial forecasts and ensure accuracy of reporting
- Produce financial and management reporting, analyzing sub-group and BU performance
- Be a key partner in the financial integration of new acquisitions
- Identify operations issues and propose process improvements
- Train and mentor Finance leads teams on performance management principles
- Guide teams on best practices to achieve strategic and operational goals

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- CPA designation required
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience
- Solid technical knowledge of IFRS, particularly IFRS 15
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Experience with acquisition accounting and integration activities is beneficial
- Advanced Excel skills
Assets:
- Experience in Public Accounting, SaaS, or Telecommunications industry
- Experience with multiple entities, countries, or currencies
- Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce
Compensation:
- $150,000 - $175,000 salary range
- Generous bonus potential
- Fully remote work environment
