About the role

Your future role on our team

Join us and put your expertise to work by actively supporting BBA’s talent attraction, acquisition and retention objectives. You’ll serve as an advisor in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, working with a tight-knit and committed team that values collaboration and knowledge sharing.

You’ll work closely with hiring managers and leaders, as well as HR specialists in areas such as total rewards, HR business partnerships and change management.

  • Develop, refine and execute talent attraction and acquisition strategies

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by using a collaborative, coaching-based approach

  • Lead the entire recruitment process for your client groups

  • Serve as an ambassador for the firm’s culture, values and the quality of the candidate experience

  • Maintain a network of candidates using various sourcing methods

  • Maximize the use of our LinkedIn Recruiter licences, especially for identifying passive candidates

  • Use and help optimize our digital systems and technology platforms every day (e.g., ATS, document management and social media)

  • Perform screening interviews and promote career opportunities at BBA

  • Coordinate and hold interviews with managers, ensuring thorough follow-ups

  • Analyze and recommend hiring conditions in collaboration with HR business partners and hiring managers

  • Prepare and present job offers

  • Complete assigned projects in collaboration with other team members

  • Contribute to continuous improvement and team development: processes, tools, documentation, practices and more

  • Promote the BBA brand through social media, networking events, career fairs and more

Summary of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations, communications or a related field, combined with at least five years of experience in talent acquisition (any equivalent combination of relevant training and experience will also be considered)
  • Knowledge of best practices for candidate sourcing
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to handle several files simultaneously
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Advanced English skills
  • Strong asset: advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
  • Strong asset: experience in corporate recruiting
  • Asset: strong interest in technology
  • Asset: intermediate Spanish skills to facilitate collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients in South America; you may need to use Spanish occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
