Senior Software Developer - Curam: On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Software Developer - Curam for a 12 month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto office.
Senior Software Developer - Curam - Job Description: The project involves developing and implementing solutions using the Cúram Social Program Management platform. This role requires hands-on development experience to support the Ministry's new initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of software solutions.
Senior Software Developer - Curam - Responsibilities:
- Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code
- Compile data-driven programs and conduct maintenance and unit testing
- Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software operation
- Provide technical assistance in implementation and ongoing production support
- Conduct knowledge transfer to fellow developers
Senior Software Developer - Curam - Mandatory Skills:
- Hands-on Cúram Development Experience
- 5+ years J2EE Java-based software development experience
- 5+ years experience with Apache Ant, Maven, Tomcat, JavaScript, XML, JSON, WebLogic or WebSphere, Oracle DB, SQL, JUnit
- 3+ years development experience in Cúram Social Program Management platform
- Experience with SOAP and RESTful web services, messaging, SFTP, and system integration technologies
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix, Git, Git pull requests, and branching
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, verbal and written communication skills
Senior Software Developer - Curam – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Cúram V7/V8 certification
- Knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Swagger-UI, Postman, PL/SQL, Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Cloud
- Experience with Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies
- Understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related standards
