About the role
Position Details
The incumbent will work with the Construction team to perform regular scheduled service, maintenance, startups, troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of refrigeration and HVAC systems throughout the Maritimes. You will also be responsible for promoting the continued growth of the service team to current and potential new customers as a field representative of Refrigeration and HVAC. The incumbent will be an experienced apprentice working through their apprenticeship or a Red Seal Journeyperson.
Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment like walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, condensing units, rack systems, and large retrofits.
Troubleshoot onsite mechanical issues
Perform routine maintenance, service and warranty work Interact with our customers Follow safe work practices Document work performed on service assignments Other duties as required to meet customer/business needs
Qualifications
Possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license with a good abstract. Own hand tools, impact, drill, tool pouch and steel toe safety boots.
Ability to travel weekly (company vehicle provided)
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate day or night shifts Ability to work a minimum of 8-hour shifts 5 days a week Physical requirements of the position include: lifting, pushing and pulling, standing, bending/crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, and working at heights and in tight spaces, as allowed by OHS regulations. The job is physically demanding and involves working on rooftops and with materials such as industrial glues and cleaning chemicals.

Compensation Range: $23.50-$40.00+ hourly. The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
