Client Service Representative – Special Functions

Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour, fixed-term contract, part time

Science North offers some of the most unique and sought-after event venues in Sudbury. We’re currently hiring a Client Service Representative – Special Functions to help ensure those events run smoothly and leave a lasting impression on our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to event inquiries, conduct site tours, and help clients select the ideal venue for their event
  • Lead onsite event setup, greet clients upon arrival, and serve as their main point of contact
  • Remain onsite during events, using sound judgment to resolve any unforeseen issues
  • Coordinate event logistics with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth execution
  • Maintain an inventory of Special Functions equipment and report any issues to management
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as client surveys, promotional campaigns, and correspondence
  • Participate in team sales efforts and contribute to achieving departmental targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • A personable, outgoing team player with strong communication and logistics skills
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving ability, especially under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and plan ahead
  • A genuine belief that client satisfaction is paramount
  • Bilingualism in French is considered an asset

This position offers part-time hours (approximately 20–25 per week) for a one-year term, with a pay rate of $20.00–$21.00 per hour. A flexible schedule is required, including availability for weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
