About the role
About the role Cappa College is hiring a contract admissions closer for our online AI-enabled diploma programs. You'll work high-volume leads referred through our network of admissions agents and close them into enrolled students, across programs and across cohorts on an ongoing basis. This is a contract position, paid on a base-plus-per-close structure, full-remote. We are only considering candidates with prior admissions experience at a career college. This is not a general sales role we're willing to train from scratch on the industry — you need to already know how career college admissions works: funding processes, cohort timelines, compliance-sensitive conversations, and closing adult career-changers.
What you'll do Work every agent-referred lead within one business day, run a structured discovery conversation, walk qualified prospects through the funding process, and close them into enrolled students. Leads are agent-sourced and largely pre-qualified — you will not be cold-prospecting.
What you need Admissions experience at a career college, specifically — required, not preferred A track record you can talk about specifically — prospects you remember, deals you closed, conversion rates you hit Experience working agent- or referral-sourced leads is a plus A home office setup that works — reliable internet, a quiet space, your own computer and headset Ontario residency and legal right to work in Canada
Compensation Base contract rate, paid bi-weekly Commission per lead closed (enrolled and confirmed) Contract engagement: no vacation pay, statutory holiday pay, or benefits unless specified in your contract terms
