About the Role
The Manager, Medical Technology Solutions provides operational leadership for the delivery and continuous improvement of technology services that support teaching, learning, clinical, and administrative activities within the School of Medicine. Working closely with ITS, faculty, and academic and clinical partners, the role oversees technology operations, service delivery, and technical teams to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with institutional priorities. This position supports the School’s goals of innovation, operational excellence, and inclusive, technology-enabled learning environments. Upcoming initiatives include advancing classroom and simulation technologies, expanding hybrid learning capabilities, strengthening cybersecurity and service management practices, supporting new facility and infrastructure projects, and implementing scalable cloud-based and integrated technology solutions across the School of Medicine.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and solutions-focused technology leader with strong operational, project management, and team leadership skills. They possess experience delivering and supporting complex technology services, managing competing priorities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, along with experience in IT service delivery, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and technology operations. The candidate should be adaptable, service-oriented, and committed to fostering inclusive and culturally safe technology environments.
