The Opportunity

We are looking for someone with a natural curiosity about technology and software development, that has a desire to constantly learn about new technologies and use them. We are looking for candidates who have strong communication skills and the ability to succeed in a result-driven work environment. As a Full Stack Developer, you'll work closely with our other developers and the project managers to complete tasks on a regular basis and code features for applications, software or agile tasks in complex systems including e-commerce platforms, enterprise applications, and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

  • Design client-side and server-side architecture using modern frameworks and cloud services

  • Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design using Angular, React, or similar frameworks

  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications using DynamoDB, MySQL, or MongoDB

  • Write effective REST APIs and integrate third-party services (BigCommerce, AWS, Stripe, etc.)

  • Implement authentication and authorization systems using JWT and OAuth providers

  • Test software to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

  • Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

  • Deploy and maintain applications on AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, S3, EC2)

  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards

  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Here’s What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of overall professional web development experience

  • Proficiency in English communication (written and verbal)

  • Successful track record in working across organizational boundaries and collaborating with cross functional teams

  • Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern ES6+ features

  • Experience with Angular (versions 14+) or React frameworks

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design principles

  • Backend development experience with Node.js and Express

  • Database experience with both SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases

  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation

  • Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines

  • Understanding of web security best practices and OWASP guidelines

Bonus Points For

  • Strong foundation in Angular framework development (versions 16-20 preferred)

  • Experience with Angular Material and component libraries (PrimeNG)

  • Experience with PHP and e-commerce platforms (BigCommerce, Shopify)

  • AWS cloud services expertise (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, SQS)

  • Experience with BigCommerce Stencil framework and theme development

  • Familiarity with serverless architecture and microservices

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (Karma, Jasmine, Jest)

  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques
