Duties & Responsibilities
Edits patient menus for accuracy according to diet plan. Updates CBORD with patient's admissions, transfers, discharges, diet changes and nutritional changes. Collects and records required nutritional data form various sources i.e. chart, staff, patient, etc. Performs nutritional screening on patients as assigned by Dietitian. Visits patients to provide nutritional education and follow-up care. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must have an undergraduate degree or diploma in Food and Nutrition, preferable with clinical nutritional experience. Must be a member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Management. Must have working knowledge of computers (CBORD). Must be able to work alternate weekends. Minimum 1 year experience as a Nutrition Technician. Excellent attendance record.
HOURS:Must be able to workWeekdays: 6:00am-2:00pm and 11:30am-7:30pm; and Weekend/holidays: 6:00am-2:00pm and 12:00pm-7:30pm. Shifts are subject to change based on departmental needs.
