Job Summary
The IT department provides cloud services and centralized network services via Shared Service Lines (SLS). The Network and Security Expert designs, deploys, and maintains new offerings, acts as product manager, selects appropriate technical solutions, and ensures their compliance with cybersecurity standards and rules. They oversee the transition to operations, monitor the technology lifecycle, supervise and re-bill services, while managing support requests and escalations with teams and suppliers.
Responsibilities
Network & Security Expert
- Define Network & Security Infrastructure services;
- Conduct RFP for the right Technology choice;
- Produce KPI based on services delivered;
- Maintain the Product lifecycle;
- Ensure level 3 support with vendors escalation when required;
- Ensuring proper transition of run activities to service partner operational teams;
- Define service Monitoring, backup, service Request and support escalation path;
- Contribute to the billing & chargeback model proposed to the customer;
- Ensure Standard and Cybersecurity rules are respected.
His duty will be to make sure to interact with the necessary stakeholders to define, budget, design, build, maintain, monitor, backup, report, support, charge the service back to the customers.
Main activities
- Design and maintain new Network and Security Services;
- Respect Cyber requirements for Service design;
- Ensure transition to operations of the Services;
- Ensure proper level of Backup;
- Ensure proper monitoring defining the monitoring rules;
- Assume level 3 support on the Services;
- Contribute to Cost optimization of Managed Services;
- Arrange webinars on major features and changes concerning CI/CD Services delivered;
- Ensure proper documentation;
- Create KPI Dashboards for services;
- Present Feature creation, updates or improvement to the Design Authority and Architecture Review Board;
- Contribute to Security Audits and Remediation.

Requirements
- Need to have Canadian citizenship for at least 5 years;
- Ability to pass all background checks and security screenings;
- Computer engineering degree or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of experience in an equivalent position in a company of similar size;
- A representative experience in handling relationships with external service providers;
- A certification is highly recommended (Cisco, Juniper, AWS, Azure, ZScaler);
- Expertise in Routing & Switching (CCIE R&S required, Juniper switching);
- Good Knowledge in SD WAN Solutions (Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Viptela);
- Expertise in Wifi solution (Cisco Meraki, Juniper);
- Good Knowledge in NAC Solution (Cisco ISE);
- Expertise in Site to Site VPN (Fortinet, Cisco);
- Expertise in Firewalling (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto);
- Expertise in Zscaler;
- Good knowledge of public cloud infrastructures (AWS and Azure);
- Knowledge of other IT infrastructure domains: desktop, identity management (AD, Entra ID, SSO, MFA), messaging and collaboration (O365) and cyber security;
- Good knowledge of ITIL and Demand Management: Projects, Release/Change Management, Operations processes;
- Level of spoken and written French: Advanced;
- Level of spoken and written English: Advanced;
- Frequency of English use: Regular.
