Job Purpose The Marketing Strategy Coordinator is responsible for providing reports, analytics, and business insights to various business and product managers, to assist them in better understanding the marketplace and in making proactive decisions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of data models.
  • Assist in the design, testing and implementation of market surveys.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing market information and trends.
  • Support promotional planning, execution, and measuring the effectiveness.
  • Create/maintain reports tracking KPIs and overall sales progress.
  • Manage product specification sheet/customer database and ensure the list is up to date.
  • Develop reports and presentations on the market forecast and external economic factors.
  • Participate in and contribute to project and team meetings, interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments, as appropriate, to understand specific requirements.
  • Assist ad-hoc data or reporting requests.
  • Any other duties/responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

  • University degree or college diploma required in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related analytical disciplines.
  • 2 years relevant experience in the tire industry or related industries.
  • Familiarity with SAP an asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel with functions and data visualizations.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Works primarily in a general office environment; May occasionally travel to other business locations.
  • Primarily works normal office hours, e.g. 8:30am – 5:00pm but must be willing and able to workday or night shifts, weekends, and extended hours as occasionally required.
  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent walking and standing, visual contact and hearing.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
