Role Description This part-time, casual, and seasonal Housekeeping role is an on-site position located in Deroche, BC. The role involves performing daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing common areas, guest rooms, bathrooms, and workspaces to maintain a safe and orderly environment. Responsibilities include laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing, as well as restocking supplies and reporting maintenance or safety concerns. The Housekeeping team member will interact with residents, visitors, and colleagues in a courteous manner, respond to housekeeping requests, and follow established procedures and standards. The role may require flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs. Qualifications Strong housekeeping skills, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining guest and common areas. Experience with laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments. Customer service and communication skills to interact respectfully with residents, visitors, and team members. Ability to follow training, procedures, and safety guidelines, including infection control and proper use of cleaning products. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry items as required for housekeeping and laundry duties. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is an asset; familiarity with faith-based or charitable settings is beneficial. Willingness to work casual, part-time, and seasonal shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
