Automation engineer- Python/DevOps (SSD Firmware Validation Engineer )
About the role
Must Python, Basic Understanding of Embedded C/C++, CI/CD, Low level FW/ROM/Bootloader experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in firmware validation or a similar role.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in Python; experience with C++ is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Pytest.
- Should have experience in low-level firmware validation, particularly with ROM, bootloaders, and firmware-specific components.
- Solid analytical thinking with the ability to grasp and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced programming skills in modern Python.
- Experience in SSD or storage domain validation is a plus.
