Position Details:

  • Shift: Weekend Night Shift.
  • Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
  • Hours: 4:45 PM – 5:00 AM (12-hour shifts).
  • Breaks: 45-minute paid break + 15-minute unpaid break per shift.
  • Pay: $38 - $45 per hour.
  • Incentive: Work 36 hours and receive an additional 4 incentive hours.
  • Shift Differential: $3 per hour worked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare jobs, creating layouts based on project specifications.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret shop drawings to understand fabrication requirements.
  • Fabricate and assemble components, ensuring quality and precision.
  • Operate plasma CNC machines and beamlines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Safely rig components for lifting and handle heavy materials as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
  • Adhere to safety standards and practices at all times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with fitting structural steel, plate work, and custom fabrication.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication techniques, steel grades, and shapes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong multitasking and prioritizing skills.
  • Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and precision measurement equipment.
  • Commitment to customer service, excellence, innovation, and integrity.
