THE POSITION Keyera is seeking a skilled and proactive SCM Contracting & Procurement (C&P) Analyst to join our Supply Chain Management team. Based at our Ft Saskatchewan facility, this developmental role is ideal for a collaborative professional with experience in sourcing, supplier management, and procurement in an operating process facility -Petrochemical, Refinery, Gas Plant, etc.
Responsibilities Supplier Management
- Coordinate setup/update of Business Associate (BA) records with Finance.
- Lead supplier prequalification and qualification, including ISNetworld (ISN) coordination.
- Manage ongoing supplier relationships including dispute resolution, onboarding support, and performance scorecard documentation.
Contracting & Procurement – Pre-Award
- Lead end-to-end RFx processes, from requirements gathering through to contract execution.
- Prepare sourcing strategy documentation, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and execute sourcing plans.
- Evaluate bids, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements (Master Agreements, POs, etc.).
- Provide guidance to internal requestors on procurement processes and documentation.
Contracting & Procurement – Post-Award
- Oversee revisions to contracts and POs, ensuring alignment with contractual changes.
- Track critical delivery timelines and proactively manage supply risks.
- Support resolution of invoicing discrepancies and ensure thorough contract closeouts.
- Participate in contract audits and ensure compliance with governance standards.
SCM Governance & Reporting
- Complete Supply Chain Plans and Contract Award documentation.
- Participate in quarterly KPI reviews and support value creation reporting.
- Conduct supplier spend and rate analytics; contribute to annual C&P planning cycles.
Additional Responsibilities
- Represent SCM at site planning and operational meetings.
- Develop and execute site-specific supply chain strategies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of operational SCM experience, preferably in an operating process facility or industrial environment.
- Experience executing end-to-end RFx processes.
- Negotiation and contract management skills.
- Exceptional relationship management abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with P2P and S2C software (like SAP Ariba),
- Familiarity with Maximo, ERP systems,
- Relevant degree. Preferably in SCM.
