Role Description

The PEERS for Teens Instructor will lead and facilitate the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) for teenagers with social challenges. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging program lessons, guiding participants through structured exercises, and monitoring progress. The instructor will also facilitate parent coaching sessions, assist in maintaining individualized program goals, and document participant outcomes.

This is a 4 hr/week contracted role based in Victoria, BC commencing mid Sept 2026 at our new location at Uptown. Hours are Mondays 4:00-8:00pm.

Qualifications

Experience with Teaching, or facilitating a social skills training program and must be a certified PEERS for teens or ypung adult instructor. Strong Communication abilities, including public speaking and interpersonal skills Empathy, patience, and the ability to engage with neurodivergent individuals and their families Familiarity with evidence-based practices for neurodivergent populations is a plus Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or related field (preferred) Previous experience working with teenagers or young adults is beneficial
