Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry. Work setting: Medical clinic. Hospital/medical facility or clinic. Tasks: Assign health care workers to specific projects and programs. Coordinate the delivery of health care services within the department. Direct and control daily operations . Evaluate daily operations . Plan and control budget and expenditures. Plan and organize daily operations. Review budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within funding limits.
