West Fraser's Woodlands Team at our North Central Division is currently recruiting for a highly motivated, professional Management Forester. This full-time role plays a key part in strategic and operational forest management planning:
- Support development and implementation of the Detailed Forest Management Plan
- Execute Growth & Yield monitoring programs
- Prepare and submit FRIAA projects and reports
- Participate in Caribou and Subregional Plan development
- Liaise with Alberta government and stakeholders
- Track and report timber production
- Administering land use activities
You Have
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Career-minded and highly motivated
- Proficient in GIS and analytical tools
- Organized and detail oriented.
- RPF or RPFT designation (or eligibility to obtain).
Assets
- 3–5+ years of relevant forestry experience preferred
